Born in Lugano in the 70s, I grew up in Geneva in a Ticino family. So ever since I was a child, I’ve been navigating between 2 cultures. I love the energy provided by the generous sunshine south of the Alps. In the north, for example, I like the clean lines of the buildings, symbolizing a certain rigor.
I knew very early on that I wanted, in the noblest sense of the word, to “serve others”. I then spent many years working in the hospitality sector in Switzerland and abroad. Whether in Asia, Europe or the Middle East, being a good listener, being attentive and caring, and understanding the needs of others, have been essential qualities in my professional career. In the exchange, I received a lot from others: life stories, moments of sharing and intense emotions.
I’ve traveled elsewhere, but I’ve also taken more introspective trips. Among other things, attending secular funeral ceremonies throughout my life made me realize how important it is to honor the deceased.
Honoring the deceased, with a ceremony that reflects his or her image, with a tribute where words have meaning, while respecting the values and sensibilities of loved ones, also means helping the living in their mourning process.
I’d like to accompany you on your journey, and offer you my know-how and interpersonal skills: welcoming everyone, quality writing, a trustworthy environment, discretion, multilingualism, organizational skills and support.
