Laurence Furrer

Throughout life, there is a time to rejoice, a time to mourn, a time to honor. Celebrating is essential and gives meaning!

Joining forces, welcoming life is synonymous with joy and gladness.

Separation, death and mourning can be very painful, full of fear and loss of bearings, but they can also be a time of relief and liberation. I propose to accompany you through these passages with a tailor-made celebration.

A life coach and practitioner of psycho-corporal therapies for over 25 years, I accompany people from their first breath to their last. As an end-of-life carer, I have supported people of all ages, including loved ones who have gone through a long illness, and others who have chosen to end their lives with EXIT. Following several painful bereavements by suicide or accident, I know how precious it is to be lovingly supported during a ceremony that soothes and helps begin the grieving process.

That’s how I trained to become a lay celebrant.

I propose to bring you comfort and gentleness through an attentive, non-judgmental presence, as well as a sympathetic ear.

Together, we’ll find the right words to organize a customized ceremony that reflects you, the deceased, his personality, his joys and sorrows, the highlights of his life and, of course, your special bond. Storyteller, creative, sensitive and intuitive, these are the qualities I bring to the table to help you honor and celebrate your loved one.
